"I like that old time rock'n'roll, that kind of music just soothes the soul, I reminisce about the days of old with that old time rock and roll."
This line from a Bob Seger song pretty much summarizes the kind of music I listen to. Of course, I can't really "reminisce about the days of old", I can only imagine those. Specifically, I like Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, the Doors and lot of other assorted singles. I listen to old Hindi film music too.

Oh by the way - box set
2007 happens to be 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd and to commemorate that the band has released a box set of all its studio albums. Storm Thorgerson designed box contains the band's entire studio album catalog, packaged as as mini-vinyl reproductions - much like the highly limited Japanese album replicas from a few years ago which now command high amounts on eBay. Each CD is a faithful reproduction of the original vinyl using original artwork, all the original inserts (posters, stickers, and such like) and LP-style dust jackets. The run was limited to 10,000 units worldwide and having pre-ordered it on Amazon I managed to get it - one of the benefits of checking Brain Damage regularly. :) Click the image on the right to see what is included in the box.
